Services

We are blessed with three wonderful churches, and this really does mean that we can have a huge range of services to suit everyone's particular style.

The services at St Nicholas' are generally more traditional, as befitting such a beautiful and ancient church.  The lovely little (and also ancient) church at Wisley is home to a more informal, but still traditional style.  At the more modern Church of the Good Shepherd, the service styles vary across the month and include our monthly Family Service.

Although there are some variations from time to time, the plan for the main morning services in each month is typically as follows:

  1st Sunday 2nd Sunday 3rd Sunday 4th Sunday 5th Sunday
Church of the Good Shepherd
Main service 10am
Holy Communion

In addition to the above, there are smaller communion services at 8am each Sunday, alternating between St Nicholas' (1st and 3rd Sundays) and the Church of the Good Shepherd (2nd, 4th, and 5th Sundays).

We also have an ongoing series of evening services with a wide variety of styles.  These include the simple and prayerful Compline, meditative celtic-style Iona services, and the regular Praise & Worship services, with the emphasis on lively worship led by the Good Shepherd worship band and informal teaching.

Specific details of all of the upcoming services at each church are shown in our Parish Calendar.  This contains dates, times, locations and substance of all our services and other related events.

Of course, a warm welcome awaits all newcomers at any of our services.
