Christmas Parade Service
Sunday 9th December, 10am at the Church of the Good Shepherd
A service for all the family where unwrapped gifts for needy children, new or in good condition, will be collected for distribution to families in need.
(Gifts may also be dropped off early on Sunday 2nd December at any of our three churches.)
Every year we hold a very popular Christingle Service appealing to all ages and especially to children. It is an informal service when each child is given a Christingle – an orange with sweets and fruit. The Christingle orange represents the world, the red ribbon around it is the blood of Christ, the fruits symbolise God’s creation and the candle it holds represents Jesus, the Light of the World. It is a wonderful way to celebrate and anticipate the coming of Christmas. This year's service will be held on Sunday, 9th December at 4pm at the Church of the Good Shepherd. Do come along.
2.30 & 4pm, Christmas Eve at the Church of the Good Shepherd
A friendly but sometimes chaotic family service, especially for younger children. Due to popular demand, we are holding two identical services this year.
Please feel free to bring a toy animal to place around the crib during the service.
